A study group for women aged twenty to thirty which aims to explore, over the next academic year, contemporary dynamics between men and women through the lens of the self-body relationship: how the latter is represented culturally, manifested institutionally, and shapes lived experiences of gender and reproduction in Western contexts. The group takes both academic and non-academic forms, comprising assigned readings and prompted journal entries, each of which participants discuss in alternating weeks during each semester. While expanding participants’ language and ideas in an interdisciplinary fashion, the group aims for an integrative experience of fellowship and personal growth.
